2. Types of Information We Process

When you use the App, the App may process the following information:

1. Information you actively provide or save

• Names of treasure chests and treasures
• Notes
• Treasure paths and location steps
• Photos you take or select
• Codes and QR code related content
• Expiration dates and reminder information you set
• Your custom code rule settings

2. Device permission related information

To provide corresponding features, the App may access the following system capabilities after obtaining your authorization:

• Camera permission: used to take photos of items and scan QR codes
• Photo library read permission: used to select images from the system photo library
• Photo library write permission: used to save QR code images to the system photo library
• Notification permission: used to send expiration reminders
• iCloud / CloudKit capability: used to sync treasure records across your Apple devices

3. Purchase related information

The App offers a one-time Pro upgrade (a non-consumable in-app purchase). When you purchase or restore Pro benefits, the App uses StoreKit services provided by Apple to read product information, verify purchase status, and restore historical purchase records.

The App does not directly access your bank card number, payment password, or complete payment account information. The related payment, settlement, and verification processes are handled by Apple.

3. Purposes of Use

The App processes the information above only for the following purposes:

• To save and manage your treasure chests, treasures, and related records
• To display images you upload or capture
• To generate, display, save, and scan QR codes
• To create expiration reminders and send local notifications
• To sync data when you have enabled iCloud
• To provide Pro purchase, verification, and restore purchase features
• To support the basic operation of the App, handle exceptions, and improve user experience

4. Information Storage and Processing

1. Local storage

Most content you create in the App is stored locally on your device by default, including but not limited to treasure chest and treasure records, images and path steps, code settings, and reminder configurations.

2. iCloud sync

The App has enabled Apple CloudKit synchronization capability. In the following circumstances, your data may be synchronized across your devices through Apple's iCloud service:

• Your device is signed in to an Apple account
• Your system and account environment support iCloud
• You have not turned off the relevant iCloud capability

Data synchronized through iCloud / CloudKit is supported by Apple's infrastructure, and the related services are also subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Apple service terms.

3. Local image processing

Image processing capabilities in the App (such as foreground subject extraction) use Apple's on-device Vision framework. Your images are processed entirely on your device and are not uploaded to any server for recognition or processing.

5. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Information

Except in the following circumstances, we will not proactively sell, rent, transfer, or share your personal information with third parties:

• To enable iCloud / CloudKit synchronization, relevant data needs to be processed through cloud services provided by Apple
• To enable in-app purchases, relevant transaction information needs to be processed through payment and transaction verification services provided by Apple
• When required by laws and regulations, judicial authorities, or administrative authorities
• When necessary to protect the personal or property safety of users, the operator, or the public

Based on the current version implementation, the App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDK has been identified, and no logic has been identified that uploads your content to self-hosted business servers.

6. Permission Usage Explanation

1. Camera permission

Used to take photos of items and scan QR codes. If you do not grant this permission, you can still browse existing content, but features related to taking photos or scanning codes will be unavailable.

2. Photo library permission

Used to select images from the system photo library or save QR code images to the system photo library. If you do not grant this permission, the corresponding image import or save features will be unavailable.

3. Notification permission

Used to send reminders when a treasure is about to expire or on the day it expires. The App only sends local notifications related to expiration reminders and does not use notifications for marketing.

4. iCloud / CloudKit

Used to synchronize records you save in the App across your Apple devices. If you do not want synchronization, you can turn off the relevant iCloud permission in system settings or disable the corresponding capability.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• You can modify or delete saved treasure chests, treasures, images, path steps, and other content within the App
• After deletion, the relevant data will be removed from local storage. If the data has already been synchronized to iCloud, the deletion of cloud data and its synchronization effectiveness may be affected by Apple's sync mechanism
• If you uninstall the App, local data will usually be removed from the device together with the App. However, content already synchronized to iCloud may still remain in your iCloud environment until it is deleted through synchronization or cleaned up by you within Apple's ecosystem

8. Protection of Minors

If you are a minor, please use the App only after your guardian has read and agreed to this Privacy Policy. Guardians should guide and manage minors in their use of the App and submission of information.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy based on product features, laws and regulations, or operational needs. The updated version will be displayed on relevant pages of the App, release pages, or other reasonable locations. If an update materially affects your rights and interests, we will try to provide prominent notice.
